Ben Brown Joins WTA as Land Access Manager

Worldwide Trophy Adventures is pleased to welcome Ben Brown as the new Land Access Manager for the Landowner TAGS program. Brown has worked in the hunting industry for about 15 years, first in sales of manufacturing hunting products such as Horn Hunter backpacks, Splash waterfowl gear, and Tarantula archery gear, and then in camouflage pattern development, and for the last 12 years, he has worked as a hunting consultant and landowner tags developer. He also was the managing editor of two different hunting magazines: “Trophy Chasers” and “Hunting illustrated.” He accepted this position because he appreciates what WTA has been able to do for hunters, and because it allowed him to work more closely with long-time colleague, WTA’s Josh Harris, with whom he’s consulted for years.

“It’s been great so far,” says Brown. “It’s been a seamless transition. The excitement around the programs we’re bringing to hunters is insane. Our programs are comprehensive, and I cannot wait to see how this season turns out!”

Brown is looking forward to building new relationships with current and future WTA clientele in his development role with the company. His excitement for the programs is obvious to anyone who speaks with him. He has goals of growth for the program. His main goal is to provide more hunting opportunities for hunters – and better hunting opportunities, too. He wants hunters to be able to spend more time in the field, and by developing new relationships with landowners and increasing landowner TAGS opportunities, he will be able to meet that goal. As a genuine people person, he succinctly states, “If you don’t have good relationships with people, you don’t have anything.”

Like many in the industry, hunting is not just a career for Brown – “it is an obsession.” In his leisure time, Brown reverts to being a self-proclaimed Mule Deer nut. An accomplished archer, Brown hunts alone as well as with family, friends, and colleagues. He is looking forward to the opportunity to spend more time hunting with outfitters, landowners, and clients through his new position at WTA.
