Description

Situated in the world famous SAVE Conservancy, in the Southeast of Zimbabwe, this private game ranch is a hunter's paradise. With a large variety of game on over 23,000 acres, this area offers some very challenging hunting for both heavy and plains game. Renowned for it's big leopard, the SAVE offers a great hunting experience for elephant, Cape buffalo and a variety of plains game in a pristine eco-system consisting of Mopani woodlands scattered iwth granite kopjes. For observers, there are great viewing trips, horse riding safaris, rock paintings and excellent largemouth bass fishing within the concession.  Resident wild dog packs and rhino add to your adventure. Camp consists of five chalets with en-suite bathrooms and a dining room with a separate bar/pool lounging area.

Day 1: Depart from home and fly to Johannesburg, South Africa
Day 2: Arrive in Johannesburg, Clear customs and overnight

Day 3: Morning flight to Harare or Bulawayo, Zimbabwe where you will be met by the outfitter and transfered to camp

Departure Itinerary
Day 1: Depart camp for your mid-day flight to Johannesburg, South Africa where you will stay in-transition and catch your flight to the USA
Day 2: Arrive in USA, clear customs and continue home

Physical Requirement Level

Level 3 - These hunts are a true wilderness experience and are usually conducted on horseback, while hunting species such as elk, moose, bear; also, some mountain lion and African Cape buffalo. Difficult to extreme hiking and backpacking can be involved.
