Your hunt will be conducted with traditional spot and stalk methods on their private 4,000 acre ranch.
The luxurious Glencree lodge located on the East coast of the South Island features 5-star accommodations overlooking the Pacific Ocean and bush clad mountains and is the only one of its type in New Zealand. Luxury accommodation with four double bedrooms with private en-suite bathrooms, heated marble floors and spacious living areas. Fresh, local seafood, venison and award winning wines from the region are all cooked and served by their in house chef. Non hunter guests and families are welcome with many options to see and do all within day-trips from the lodge.

Day 1: Depart from home and fly to Auckland, New Zealand
Day 2: Loose this day crossing International Date Line
Day 3: Arrive in Auckland, Clear customs and transfer to domestic airport
Fly to Christchurch where you will overnight
Day 4: Met by outfitter at hotel and transfer to camp, you will hunt this afternoon
Your full hunt days booked hunting tahr and chamois
Weather will determine order of hunt
Day 1: Depart camp for home, you will arrive home the same day
Physical Requirement Level
Level 2 - These hunts are mostly conducted on private ranches. Species include mule deer, elk, antelope; additionally, some caribou and African plains game hunts. Moderate to light hiking each day in semi-mountainous terrain.
