Horseback Sheep Hunt in the Brooks Range

There is no such thing as an easy sheep hunt, but a horseback hunt in the Brooks Range is as good as it gets. The base camp is located 130 miles north of the Arctic Circle in some of the most spectacular country in the Last Frontier. Base camp consists of comfortable walled tents with woodburning stoves, a cook tent that serves excellent food and lots of it, and a shower tent. Hunts are conducted on sure-footed mountain horses to get you back into the heart of this game-rich country where you and your knowledgeable guide will hunt from a remote spike camp. This is a small, personalized operation and the outfitter only takes a few clients each season, ensuring that each hunter has the opportunity to take home an older trophy and the game is not overhunted.
