Alberta offers some of the finest black bear hunting in North America. This hunt takes place in the remote northern part of the province. This is a small outfitter that only takes 12 hunters each season. With over 30 active bait sites available in this large hunting concession, you can be assured of hunting a fresh area each evening. A mature bear in this area will square 6’+ with skull sizes in the 18″+ range. Accommodations consist of a remote, yet comfortable wall tent camp, right in the middle of big bear country. WIN CARD (Wildlife Identification Number)
WIN is required to purchase hunting licenses in Alberta. A WIN number is valid for five years from the date of purchase.  Please go to https://www.albertarelm.com/licensing.page. To complete the online application and purchase, renew or replace your WIN card. Upon submission, a WIN card with your WIN number on it will be mailed to you. Be sure you give yourself enough time to receive your card before you arrive for your hunt.

Airport pick up.

**The outfitter will skin and prepare and freeze your bear skull for export. Your license is your export permit, hunters should bring an extra duffle bag along to transport hide and skull home. Taxidermists are available upon request if hunters do not wish to take their bear hides and skulls with them.

Transportation

Fly to Edmonton, rent a vehicle, and drive four hours north to camp.

Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Depart from home and fly to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where you will overnight.

Day 2: Drive to camp.

Days 3-8: Black bear hunt.

Day 9: Depart camp for Edmonton, schedule and afternoon return flight.
