Outfitter #360

Deluxe Sailfish Lodge in Guatemala

Guatemala offers the finest fishing for Pacific sailfish on the planet.  Boats consistently raise upwards of 20-40+ fish a day and sometimes a lot more.  Three reasons why Guatemala offers the finest sailfishing in the world: 124 releases in a single day, 300 releases in three days on conventional tackle, or how about 57 releases in a single day on fly tackle (all by one boat!). Typically the Fall season brings larger sailfish up to 150 pounds but for pure volume of 80 - 100 pound fish, December through May is your best bet. A typical day can yield 20 - 30 bites with 50-60+ bites not unusual. Blue marlin add to the excitement and they generally show up in concentrations for a week or more several times a year. At any time, a run to the far offshore can normally put you on yellowfin tuna as well. A fine fleet of 35'- 40' boats are equipped with the finest conventional and fly tackle. This outfit takes great pride in offering its guests first-class vessels, run by highly respected captains, and beautiful accommodations to return to each day. The newer lodge is located less than a mile from the marina, and after a day of releasing sailfish, relax poolside at the lodge sipping a cold beverage. If you're looking for a high volume, action packed billfishing trip, look no further that Guatemala.

"Wanted to say thank you for your help setting up our trip Guatemala.  It was an incredible trip!  My dad was blown away and it will definitely go down

as one of the greatest if not the best fishing trip we have ever been on.  The lodge, boats, captains, mates, and all the other people that helped us while were there

were 1st class.  In three days of fishing we had  97 raises, 77 bites, 42 releases.  We caught 6 dolphin and had one blue marling sighting.  It was a truly incredible trip."
