April – May
This Merriam’s turkey hunt takes place in the Sacramento Mountains of southern New Mexico. The hunt takes place on large private ranch with an abundance of wild Merriam’s turkeys. The hunt area consists of an abundance of timber, open mesas, and areas of cedar flats which provide ideal habitat and protection for the birds to flourish. Bottom line is that this country sets up well for calling in a big long beard!
At each day’s end, you will relax in a very comfortable restored 19th-century ranch house lodge with satellite TV and all of the amenities of the home. The lodge features six guest rooms (2 with private baths) and six full bathrooms. We only take four hunters at a time so call now! Delicious Southwestern cuisine is served daily.
