SPECIAL BECEITE IBEX AND ROE BUCK $14,339 (was $18,876)
Beceite ibex belong to the Capra species and this particular goat is one of the most remarkable species in Spain with the widest and tallest horns. Ibex don’t shed their horns and continue to grow them continuously during their life. The length of the horns of a non-medal Beceite ibex can reach around 27” and the thickness at the base of horns will be around 9”. High-Gold trophies can reach impressive lengths of 36” and over with 10” thick bases. Our outfitter has exclusive free range hunting access to 50,000-acres of government ground. Although the region is a mountainous area approximately 4,500-ft in elevation, the difficulty of the hunt can be adapted to the physical condition of the hunter. These mountains are covered by a surprising network of roads. You guide will be able to take you up to the top of the peaks and down into the valleys without challenging your physical ability to the extreme.
The accommodation and the food is purely Spanish, in the middle of the country side where you get to see, taste and feel the essence of the Spanish culture.
Your 5-day trip begins upon arrival at the Valencia airport. Your host will transfer you to the hotel in the hunting area - around a 2 hours drive- where you will have lunch and in the afternoon sight in your firearm. The next two days you will hunt starting at dawn and back to the hotel after sunset. You will enjoy a picnic style lunch taking advantage of when the ibex lay down at noon.
Your 4th day will be spent visiting Peñiscola castle, located on the shore of the Mediterranean sea. Lunch in a very exclusive restaurant with fresh caught fish. In the afternoon you´ll enjoy a boat tour on the underground river -Grutas de San Jose- close to Valencia with traditional food and paella tasting for dinner in Valencia.
