British Columbia Stone Sheep Hunting Outfitter
Or Call: 1-800-346-8747
Many serious sheep hunters consider the Stone's sheep to be one of the toughest trophies to acquire of the four primary species of North American wild sheep. First of all, there aren't a lot of them and they inhabit some of the most remote and rugged areas of North America. In recent years, even some of the most respected outfitters for Stone's sheep have experienced success rates as low as 50%. Given the cost of these hunts and the amount of time and effort required to be successful, it only makes sense to carefully choose your outfitter. This is where the research of Cabela's Outdoor Adventures can really pay off, as we have discovered a great outfitter who has achieved high success for each of the past three seasons. Located in the pristine mountains of northern British Columbia, this vast hunting concession is a true wilderness area, stretching all the way to the Yukon and accessible only by float plane, as there are no roads. Parts of the area have seen very little or almost no hunting pressure, allowing the rams here to reach full maturity and excellent trophy quality. These are horseback hunts and will be based from well-equipped spike camps. The outfitter and his guides are expert sheep hunters, with the ability to both locate rams and evaluate their quality. They only take a few sheep hunters each season and make sure that everyone receives a very personalized hunting experience. Recent clients of Outdoor Adventures have given this outfitter excellent reviews and he is quickly becoming one of our favorite sheep guides. If you're seeking a Stone's sheep for your trophy collection, this outfit can help you to fulfill that quest. Mountain goat also available on trophy fee basis. #012
