Baited Spring Black Bear with Grizzly Combo Hunts
Or Call: 1-800-346-8747
Recently the state of Alaska has opened up a few new predator control areas in hopes of keeping the grizzly population in check. Due to these changes one of WTA's long time outfitters is now offering baited spring grizzly and black bear hunts. These combination hunts are conducted on state lands along the Tanana River. The hunting area encompasses hundreds of square miles of rolling hills, dense brush, river bottoms, lakes and streams. A portion of the hunt area is the Tok management area that has a very high population of both black bear and interior grizzly.
This 7-day hunt is fully guided by experienced guides. Accommodations are a comfortable cabin, and home-cooked meals are served daily. ATVs and boats will be used to access the hunt areas and baits stations. Mature grizzly bears in this region will average 7- 8' square. Under normal conditions we expect high shot opportunities on mature bears. This hunt is very reasonably priced and availability is limited so give us a call today.
