This private ranch, located on the Nevada border of western Utah encompasses over 160,000 acres of private lands. This remote area, is home to a resident herd of approximately 800 Rocky Mountain Elk. WTA’s long time outfitter has been outfitting these lands exclusively for over two decades with outstanding success and hunt reports. All trophy hunts are 5 days in duration and guided 1x1 by experienced guides. Hunts are conducted during the month of September and early October during the peak rut by spot and stalk. This hunt is known for producing some exceptional quality bulls averaging in the 370 -380 B&C and bulls pushing the 390-400 inch mark are harvested annually. The 2017 season produced 5 bulls over 380 out of 12 total hunters and three bulls over 400” with the average bull scoring around 371 B&C.
Due to the remoteness of this hunt area, accommodations are a comfortable tented camp. Each hunter is provided with their own 9x13 private tent, cot and foam pad. The camp also has hot showers and main wall tent set up for dining and for guests to relax at the days end. Camp cook will provide you with delicious meals daily.
