Outfitter #164

Kansas/Nebraska Turkey Hunting Outfitter

Description

This action-packed turkey hunt takes place on several thousand acres of private land in Northwest Kansas and South-Central Nebraska. This is home to some of the highest densities of turkeys anywhere in the US. Hunting Rio's with this outfitter is a more Exclusive Experience. There will never be more than four hunters in camp, and in all actuality, most hunt periods will only host two hunters at any one time. If you're a bow hunter, take advantage of the early archery only season, which kicks-off in late March. It’s an exciting time of year to bow hunt turkeys, and it's not uncommon to have long beards strut right into your decoys. This outfitter specializes in bowhunting, they do their homework and will have several strategically placed blinds set in key areas. Your hunt will start on the Kansas side. Once a bird is harvested it's just a short drive to Nebraska where your hunt will resume for your second bird. In Fall of 2017, this outfitter completed construction on a brand new lodge. It's a wonderful space to come back to after a long day - where a hot shower, clean room and wonderful evening meal will be waiting.   #164
