Or Call: 1-800-346-8747

Description

We have found one of the best hunts for wild, free-range wild deer on the planet. Javan Rusa stags on the tropical island of New Caledonia in the South Pacific. This territory of France is located off the eastern coast of Australia in the Coral Sea and home to a very un-believable population of deer. The Javan Rusa species is the largest in antler and body size and originate from Asia. Our outfitter operates on several concessions on the island and seeing deer is not the challenge it is getting by so many deer while closing the distance to your big stag. You may even hunt these vocal deer during the rut, which is in full swing mid-August. Hunting is done by ambush, spotting and stalking and the terrain varies from jungles, open fields, rolling hills or coastal flats. Private bungalow accommodations provide a relaxing atmosphere. Enjoy dining on French cuisine, which may include beef, lamb and local seafood. Not to mention the fresh Croissants, breads and jams. The sights and sound on this South Pacific Island safari are sure to get your pulse rate going. Plan to stay a few extra days and enjoy the beaches, fishing and casinos. Don't let this exciting hunt pass you by.
