Boat Based Trophy Mountain Goat Hunt in Alaska
Hunt mountain goats in South Central Alaska along the coast of the Kenia Peninsula. This is absolutely one of Alaska's highest quality mountain goat hunts with all of the amenities of home. Imagine yourself living aboard a beautiful 59' vessel, scanning the Alaskan coastline for mountain goat. Once found you will enter the shore via skiff and start your climb. You will then return to the boat that evening for an excellent meal and well deserved comfortable bed - no cold tents here! This limited-entry draw area comes with high odds of drawing and is known for producing giant billies with awesome hair. The recent average is over 9 inches with a few lucky hunters harvesting billies at or above the magical 10" mark most seasons. All hunts are guided 1x1 and produce extremely high shot opportunities. Most hunters are able to harvest a goat in 1 or 2 climbs. If you're looking for a trophy mountain goat this is a fantastic adventure for the trophy-of-a-lifetime in a semi-comfortable setting. With drawing odds as good as 1:3 this is a very realistic chance at drawing this permit even on your first year of applying.
