Description

Hunt big bull elk in Colorado’s unit 20, by Rocky Mountain National Park. This region is managed for a bull-to-cow ratio of 45 bulls to 100 cows and consistently produces bulls in the 300 B&C to 350 B&C class. Every year a few top-end bulls scoring over 350” are taken by lucky hunters. You will hunt a mix of private land and the surrounding National Forest. Hunters need to be in good physical condition as this is a true mountain elk hunt. Our outfitter has excellent equipment, and based on weather, you may be hunting from horse, ATV, 4x4 pickup and, of course, be prepared for some old fashioned hiking. Accommodations vary by season but typically consist of modern cabin or ranch house services. With only 20-total tags available per hunt date, 5 being allocated to non-residents, you will need to book your hunt early. Since Colorado is a true preference point state, many hunters book a couple years in advance.

If you have, or are closing-in on the elk preference points listed below in the additional information, call WTA TAGS today and let’s talk about booking one of the very best elk destinations in North America – 1-800-755-8247.
