Southeast Wyoming First Class Antelope Hunt
The Southeast corner of Wyoming is an antelope hunting mecca. The vast amount of private property that exist in these areas has allowed the landowner and outfitter to run their operations with high quality management that results in excellent hunting. These antelope hunts can be planned for both archery or rifle season. The archery hunts happen in mid to late August while the rifle hunts are the first couple weeks of October. This 60,000 acre property is the perfect habitat for the antelope popultation to thrive, with the countless valleys and rolling cuts throughout the ranch the antelope are spread out across the majority of the property. The style of hunting will be spot and stalk during the rifle hunt and ground blind during the archery season. Wyoming licenses are on a computer draw. State application deadline is May 31st. Antelope license is:
$286 for the regular license (Requires 1 preference point)
$526 for the special license. (Requires 0 preference points)
You can purchase a preference point up until the last week of October for the follow year for as little as $60 with WTA TAGS application assitance.
A hunter safety card is required if born after Jan. 1, 1966.
Physical Requirement Level
Level 1 - These hunts are mostly farm or ranch hunts from stands or blinds. Includes substantial use of 4x4 pickups and/or ATVs. Mostly whitetail deer hunts are in this category.
