Wyoming Mule Deer Hunting Outfitter (Region G)
This Wyoming outfitter offers hunts in "Region G," also known as the Greys River Drainage. Mule deer hunting is still going strong in Wyoming, and you will be hard pressed to find better habitat, country and better bucks anywhere else in the state. Bucks are consistently killed in this specific area that score 170 - 190"+ B&C every year. Their hunting area lies on the border of Idaho on on the western edge of Wyoming. These hunts are conducted off horseback and are physically demanding with big steep country and thousands of feet of elevation change. This outfitter's well trained horses are an incredible help each day in navigating this tough terrian, but be prepared for some hiking in very steep terrian as the horses cannot make it everywhere that the big bucks of this country call home. These mule deer hunts will typically be conducted out of wall tents deep in the Wyoming wilderness. Meanwhile the outfitter also operates on a day use permit, which means the hunt starts and ends in town. By offering the luxuries of civilization and close proximities of the forest, it allows them the mobility to hunt vast areas to provide you a with a great western horseback hunting experience.
