Outfitter #288

Stone Sheep Hunting Guide In British Columbia

One of the most sought after trophies in all of North American hunting, this outfitter provides top-notch hunts for Stone's sheep in the famous drainages of the Prophet and Muskwa Rivers of northern British Columbia. This is where the legendary Chadwick Ram was taken and those outstanding genetics are still present in today's sheep herd, with record book rams being taken almost every year. Virtually every client who puts in the effort and stays for the duration of the hunt gets his sheep and they average over 10 years in age and over 37" in horn length. In addition to a great hunting area, this outfitter also has all of the infrastructure and equipment to produce outstanding hunts. Though very remote, the base lodge is truly first class and there are 17 additional satellite camps - all fitted with cabins - to make your sheep hunt as comfortable as possible. An experienced crew of guides and wranglers utilize sound mountain horses to access the high sheep basins and from there you begin the climb up to the sheep of your dreams. If you need a stone for your sheep collection and want a very well organized and fully equipped hunt, this outfitter is a perfect choice. #288
