Outfitter #565

Giant Alaskan Peninsula Brown Bear Hunting

The Alaskan Peninsula offers some of the finest coastal brown bear hunting anywhere in the world. This seasoned outfitter is one of the pioneers in Alaska, outfitting hunters from all over the world for over 35 years. His reputation is one of the best in the state and his hunt reports over the years have been remarkable. This remote bear hunt take place in the pristine Becharof National Wildlife Refuge. Our outfitter has 4 exclusive permits available per year. This remote region of the Peninsula is located on Pacific side only 30 miles from Kodiak Island across from the Shelikof Straight. The Terrain is magnificent and conducive for spot and stalk hunting with the many beaches, river valleys and ridge tops for glassing. Each hunt is guided 1x1 by experienced guides out of remote tented camps. Over the years hunters have experienced very high shot opportunities on mature bears. Although they are few and far between this area has been known to produce bears in excess of 10 Ft. Square. These hunts are very mentally and physically demanding due to the location and weather however the trophy and experience will exceed most hunts in North America. Due to the limited availability and high demand of these hunts, hunters should plan to schedule this over a year in advance. #565
