Private Land New Mexico Cow Elk Hunt


Guided cow elk hunt in southwest New Mexico on several large private ranches. This hunt is for three days, from late October through the end of the year, and includes professional guide, lodging, and meals. Comfortable cabin accommodations, full main lodge, and meat processing facilities with walk in cooler available.  The physical requirement for this hunt is minimal. This is strictly a fill-the-freezer meat hunt.


$2,150/person (3x1 guided) plus 5.125% tax and license.

Physical Requirement Level

Level 2 - These hunts are mostly conducted on private ranches. Species include mule deer, elk, antelope; additionally, some caribou and African plains game hunts. Moderate to light hiking each day in semi-mountainous terrain.
