These are great hunts for the hunter looking to collect all the species of moose, or the cost-conscious hunter looking for a great value in moose hunting. Newfoundland has a lot of moose, but typically, they are not big moose. WTA works with the best outfitters in the province to offer our customers the widest variety of hunts available on the Island. Clients can choose from the road, accessed lodges, or remote fly-in camps, as well as the option of adding woodland caribou to their moose hunt. Success rates have been high with antler spreads ranging from 20″ to 50″+. Accommodations are in comfortable lodges, cabins, or rustic tented camps depending on hunt location and the guides will work hard to ensure that you have a safe and successful hunt.
* These hunts are very physically demanding and hunters can expect to hike several miles per day. #101
