Utah Elk Hunting Camp

Description

This Utah elk hunt takes place on 17,000 private acres during the September rut. Only two hunts are offered with 6-8 per hunt. These bulls will average around 280-300" with a couple of 330" class bulls taken most seasons. Comfortable cabins with shower facilities is offered and you'll hunt with 4x4 vehicles and polaris rangers. Hunting begins the minute you step out the door from this superbly located camp which features up to eight cabins, a cooking trailer, dining tent and a refrigerator unit for harvested animals. The terrain ranges from 6200' to 9500' in elevation, from high country desert to pine tree covered steep canyons over its 17,000 acres. Generators and a 1,000 gallon fresh water tank are on-site.

Physical Requirement Level

Level 2 - These hunts are mostly conducted on private ranches. Species include mule deer, elk, antelope; additionally, some caribou and African plains game hunts. Moderate to light hiking each day in semi-mountainous terrain.
