Wyoming Elk Hunting - Private Land

This Wyoming elk hunt takes place in the southeast part of the state on over 30,000 private acres. It typically takes several years of applying and building preference points before you're lucky enough to draw a Wyoming elk tag. However, the odds of drawing this unit is virtually 100% with as little as 1 preference point! The quality is excellent too with several bulls scoring 300"+ every year! This operation is relatively small, which means greater attention to detail and customer service. The elk season begins October 1st when the bulls are still very vocal and in the rut! These are resident elk and do not migrate due to the quality feed and low hunting pressure. Bulls are often spotted from four-wheel drive vehicles, then your hunt is on foot. All of the guides are very accomplished trophy hunters themselves, and understand what makes a quality hunt for their client. Knowing the country and behavior of the animals is their business, and they are good at what they do. A modern hunting lodge will be your home away from home during the week. The lodge features five double occupancy bedrooms, two full baths, great room, and dining room with good food and plenty of it. We only take a total of ten elk hunters each season here and past season's have been 100% opportunity. Most bulls harvested will be a 6x6 scoring 280" - 320". Give us a call soon as the deadline to apply for this tag is January 29!
