Unit 1 - Western Kansas Whitetails
This veteran outfitter offers rifle, muzzleloader and archery whitetail hunts from his newly constructed lodge in western, Kansas. WTA TAGS manager, Eric Pawlak, considers this outfitter's archery hunt to be one of the best values in North America for the whitetail species. He controls over thirty miles of Long Branch Creek, Sapa Creek, Beaver Creek and Rock Branch Creek in Unit 1 Kansas. These areas provide some of the best habitat for trophy class whitetail deer and with his 135” minimum you will be provided with an honest opportunity to harvest the whitetail of a lifetime. Drawing odds in Unit 1 typically run about 75% in the first year of applying and 100% in year two. WTA TAGS can handle this application on your behalf (please inquire about the Kansas mule deer stamp which is available in Unit 1).
The comfortable lodge is just one mile from the Kansas/Nebraska line, and is a big part of the overall experience, providing you with a clean, comfortable and modern facility along with peace-and-quiet that is second to none. With all your meals and housekeeping included in the package, all you have to do is hunt and relax! You will hunt from strategically placed tree stands and/or Double Bull ground blinds and in some cases you will be the only hunter that uses a specific stand or blind for the entire season.
