Outfitter # 126

Guided Wyoming Archery Whitetail Outfitter

You will not believe the volume of whitetail deer and wildlife in general seen on this hunt. When we visited this operation we were amazed at the number of deer seen seemingly everywhere! The outfitter leases a couple dozen parcels for whitetail deer, and it is not uncommon to see 50 deer from a stand location. The outfitter has been managing many of these parcels for 12 or more years. Average quality of harvested whitetail is 120-140" with the upper end buck taken off these leases 190+. Past opportunity for harvest has been 100%.

You will be put on pre-scouted locations, and hunt out of Double Bull ground blinds, enclosed Hay Bale Blinds, ladder stands and tree stands. The outfitter recommends morning and evening hunts with a break in between where you return to the comfortable, centrally located lodge to relax for a few hours. One of the best time to hunt whitetails is not the rut when buck movement is relatively unpredictable, but during September when the pre-scouted bucks are routinely hitting the same bedding area and feed source. The trip is 6 full hunting days with 7 nights.

All lodging and food is included, and the lodge has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, i.e. washer/dryer, big screen TV, bedding and towels, etc. Airport pickup in Sheridan, Wyoming is included, and the lodge is located 10 miles south of the airport. No bait is used and deer are hunted on their travel patterns and on natural feed. Given the quality deer management program and sheer volume of deer on these ranches, each hunter is encouraged to take a couple of does each on this hunt at no extra cost other than the license
