This seasoned outfitting operation has been successfully offering high-quality Dall sheep hunts for over 40 years. These 10-day backpack hunts are fully guided 1×1 by professional guides. The hunting area encompasses hundreds of square miles of rugged mountains and river drainages of the Talkeetna Mountains. You and your guide will spend hours daily glassing the valleys and mountainsides until a trophy is located. These hunts are backpack and outfitted out of spike camps only accessible by air. Over the past decade, these hunts have produced high shot opportunities on mature legal rams. Rams in this area, tend to have horns with wide sweeping flares making an exceptional trophy. Due to the remoteness and the rugged terrain, hunters need to be in good physical condition. If you’re looking for a high-quality affordable mountain sheep hunt in Alaska, look no further. The outfitter limits their hunts to 2 – 3 hunts per year and is usually sold out in advance. Give WTA a call today.
