The province of Alberta is known for its high density of Canadian Moose population. This hunting destinations is located in a prime location for moose. Their hunting territory is a mixture of marshlands, hardwoods and agricultural fields. The perfect recipe for the Canadian moose to thrive as they have a good food source and habitat. In this area of Alberta there are no rifle hunts available during the rut only archery and little to no resident pressure. This November rifle hunt will consist of spot and stalk hunting 2×1 with your hunting partner and an experienced guide. This small scale hunting operation prides themselves on top quality and high success thus they offer this hunt for 10 days. Over the past years hunters have experienced high shooting opportunities on mature bulls measuring 20″ to over 50″ with the average bull around 40 inches. This is a very reasonable priced high success moose hunt. Early Reservations are required as this outfitter takes limited hunters annually.  #511

WIN is required to purchase hunting licenses in Alberta. A WIN number is valid for five years from the date of purchase.  Please go to https://www.albertarelm.com/licensing.page. To complete the online application and purchase, renew or replace your WIN card. Upon submission, a WIN card with your WIN number on it will be mailed to you. Be sure you give yourself enough time to receive your card before you arrive for your hunt.

Fly to Edmonton AB. Outfitter rent a vehicle and drive to camp.

Sample Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly to Edmonton, rent a vehicle and drive to camp. will meet and transfer to camp.

Day 2 -11: Hunt

Day 12:Transfer to Edmonton AB for return flight home.

Hunt Style

Physical Level:

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.

Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.

Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.

Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
