Septmeber-November

Alberta offers fantastic opportunities for hunting mule deer. With limited resident hunting pressure, the trophy quality has increased significantly. Plus, these hunts take place during the pre-rut and rut when the big bucks are most active. The terrain consists of rolling hills and timbered ridges with aspen and willow stands. This outfitter offers two excellent mule deer hunts. The foothills hunt takes place primarily on private ranches that have an extremely high density of mule deer, some with great genetics. This is a spot and stalk hunt from 4×4 vehicles with lots of glassing. Accommodations on this hunt are in a comfortable farmhouse. The other option is a mountain hunt in the wilderness area of the Rocky Mountains from a wall tent camp. Access to this area is by foot or on horseback so you’ll need to be in decent physical condition. This hunt offers the opportunity to take a great buck with the added adventure of being in true wilderness. Both hunts offer the chance at a buck in the 160″-180″+ class.
