Alpine Chamois Paradise

Come Experience one of Europes Finest Hunting Adventures. The Alpine Chamois is native to Austria, and to this day enjoy an extremely healthy population. They can be found wherever rocks, & steep slopes are present. The scenic valleys of Austria have few rivals in terms of beauty, and the hospitality of the locals is world renown. The hunting for Chamois takes place over the entire day, with a mixture of walk & stalk or potential for ground blinds. Depending on Physical Abilities we have flexible options to ensure success for our hunters. Hunting trophies include male as well as old females without kids.

Observers are welcome to accompany with the hunters, but those choosing not to will enjoy a variety of activities. The arrival Airport for this hunt will be in the Beautiful City of Salzburg, Austria. Pick up for the hunt can be arranged from the Salzburg Airport or from one of their many fine hotels.

Non-Hunter Price:

Easy: Farm or ranch hunts from stands or blinds. Substantial use of 4x4 pickups, UTVs. Most whitetail deer hunts.

Medium: These hunts are mostly conducted on private ranches. Species include mule deer, elk, antelope, some caribou and African plains game hunts. Moderate to light hiking each day in semi-mountainous terrain.

Hard: These hunts are a true wilderness experience and are usually conducted on horseback, hunting species such as elk, moose, bear, some mountain lion and African Cape buffalo. Difficult to extreme hiking and backpacking can be involved.

Difficult: All sheep hunts, goat, most grizzly and brown bear, some mountain lion and elephant. The terrain and/or animals can involve some dangerous situations. These hunts will probably require extreme physical endurance and some athletic ability.

The Accommodation takes place in an extremely comfortable Guest House, where comfortable rooms are combined with delicious food and drinks. Walking trails & forest can be reached only a short walk away from this ideal Guest House.


Getting Here

Our Friendly Staff will meet you either on the airport or in the city on the day of arrival and make the 2 Hour Journey South to the Accommodations near to the Hunting Areas. Hunting Area is in Upper Carinthia, Austrias Southern Most State. All transportation during the hunt by 4×4 or trucks is also included.

Upon final day either a return to Salzburg Airport Or Salzburg City Centre is included. Transfer to additional destinations or rental car pick up can also be arranged.


Hunt Style

Physical Level:

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.

Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.

Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.

Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
