The Dall Sheep is one of the most prestigious and sought after big game trophies in North America. This outfitters hunt area is located on the north side of the Brooks Range in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. Their exclusive rights to this Federal concession of 20 + years has allowed them the ability to properly manage their area resulting in high shot opportunities on trophy class rams. The Brooks Range of Northern Alaska is considered one of the most user friendly mountain ranges when it comes to sheep hunting. That being said, you will want to be in the best physical condition possible. All sheep hunts are fully guided 1×1 by experienced guides with a passion for mountain hunting. You and your guide will spike out during your hunt and modern tent camps and gear will be provided. After your hunt you can return to base camp for showers, internet and home cooked meals are provided. Fly to Anchorage, AK and overnight. Early AM flight to Deadhorse, AK the following morning. Outfitter will meet and charter to camp.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
