This owner – operated outfit only takes a handful of deer hunters each season to assure that everyone has a great experience and a good opportunity at a nice mule deer buck. Northwest Colorado is known for its abundance of wildlife and come November, these hills and river bottoms are loaded with mule deer, including some exceptional trophy bucks. The moderate terrain and private land is easy to navigate and the guides here can cater to any hunter’s physical ability. A representative mule deer buck here is a classic 4×4, 22″-25″ wide and expect to look over several bucks each day. You and your guide will access the property in 4×4 pick-ups or side by sides glassing the country in search of a trophy buck. Then, the stalk is on! The price includes the cost of a third season landowner tag! These four day fully guided hunts include great accommodations and western hospitality. Day 1 – Fly to Hayden, CO where you will be met and transferred to camp.
Days 2-5: Four day hunt.
Day 6 – Return home this morning.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
