Mark Peterson, WTA owner and host of the “Cabela’s Instinct: Expedition Series” TV show, will host a great Asian mountain experience in the enchanted land of Nepal hunting for blue sheep in the storied Himalaya Mountains. This may just be the pinnacle of mountain hunting, and is certainly a hunt that very few, even serious, mountain hunters have experienced.
This is a glass, spot and stalk hunt at elevations ranging from 4000-4500 meter. Shots are typically 300-450 yards, and hunter success has been 100 % over the past few years. Blue sheep trophies range from 24-25 inches.
Necessary government tax for the Hunting License

Community support for Himalayan Tahr US$ 1 500.00 each which have to pay after successful hunt to Local community people.
This is going directly to the local communities people for school children, medicine, drinking water supply, also help anti-poaching.
Camping service as per the areas we hunt. 3 times meal during the hunting in tented camp

Day 1: arriving in KTM, all the day sightseeing waiting clearance rifle. Night in Kathmandu at charge hunter
Day 2: helicopter’s transfer, then organisation with the sherpas to do the first walk in the direction to Blue sheep area. Night in tents camps
Day 3: transfert walking to blue sheep camp with first pass at 4000 meters then down again. Night in tents camps.
Day 4 : transfert walking to blue sheep camp. To the direction of 4000 meters with first possible outing hunt. Night in tents camps
Day 5-6-7-8-9 : Hunting blue sheep. Night in tents camps
Day 10 : Going back walking to lower block for thar. Night in tents camps
Day 11 : Going back walking to lower block for thar. First outing. Night in tents camps
Day 12-13-14-15-16 : Hunting Thar at lower altitude. Night in tents camps
Day 17 : back to Dhorpatan. Night in tents camp
Day 18 : helicopter transfer to KTM. Night at hunter charge
Day 19 : Back to USA
Please note: Most hunters have finished their Sheep hunts in 1- 2 days, and Tahr hunts in 1- 2 days as well. If your hunt finishes early, you may fly home if arrangements can be made with airlines.

Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
