November 9 – 13
This trophy mule deer hunt takes place on the prairies of northeast Montana toward the Canadian line. These large private ranches are home to some of the best trophy mule deer hunting in the state of Montana. This is a unique opportunity to hunt both resident deer and deer that are migrating in from Canada. Hunting will take place in classic secluded regions of sagebrush and grasslands. This outfitter can accommodate multiple hunting styles allowing one to be as aggressive or relaxing as you choose.
A limited number of hunters are taken each year (10-12) to ensure a quality hunt and that success is kept high. This outfitter hunts two separate areas in this region and both are loaded with deer. The northern ranch is 50,000 acres and typically produces some of the biggest bucks every year. The southern property totals 60,000 acres and has some great trophy quality too. Recent years have produced several bucks in the 160-170″ plus range. These hunts take place during the November rut when bucks are most active. Hunters will have the opportunity to see large numbers of deer and you will be able to look at multiple bucks each day. Transportation will be in 4×4 vehicles and then on foot. Some very large whitetail bucks have also been harvested here over the years. You’ll have the choice of harvesting a mule deer or whitetail with your tag.
Accommodations consist of comfortable ranch houses with all of the amenities of home. If you’re looking for a high quality mule deer hunt during the rut, give us a call. This hunt is very limited. #450
