Wyoming Cow Elk- Nov. Or Dec.

Trip #1784
Outfitter #706
from
$1,800
Location:
Wyoming
Method:
Rifle
Dates:

Hunts will be conducted during the months of November and December.

In totality the ranch is over 60,000 acres (95 square miles) and varies from 6,400-8600 feet in elevation. The lower portions of the ranch feature rolling grasslands containing cottonwoods within the drainages which gradually give way to the hogbacks containing an array of pine, willow, and low brush plant varieties. This hunt can be as physically demanding as a hunter desires but as an overall rule of thumb it is low impact. A developed road system within the ranch makes cutting distances simple and eliminates brutally long hikes.

This is a truck hunt, it is not a walk the woods hunt. Most of the hunting occurs by use of vehicles due to possible weather conditions, temperatures and snow cover. We have run a nearly 100% hunter success rate for the last several years.

Hunters are responsible for providing their own food and lodging in Cheyenn, WY which is roughly 40 minutes from the ranch. Each morning hunters will drive to the ranch and transfer gear into the guides pickup and head to the field for the day. Guides will assist in transporting game to the processing facility in Cheyenne if needed.
