Hunts will be conducted during the months of November and December.
In totality the ranch is over 60,000 acres (95 square miles) and varies from 6,400-8600 feet in elevation. The lower portions of the ranch feature rolling grasslands containing cottonwoods within the drainages which gradually give way to the hogbacks containing an array of pine, willow, and low brush plant varieties. This hunt can be as physically demanding as a hunter desires but as an overall rule of thumb it is low impact. A developed road system within the ranch makes cutting distances simple and eliminates brutally long hikes.
This is a truck hunt, it is not a walk the woods hunt. Most of the hunting occurs by use of vehicles due to possible weather conditions, temperatures and snow cover. We have run a nearly 100% hunter success rate for the last several years.
