Outfitter #097

South African safari in the Kalahari

Or Call: 1-800-346-8747

Description

This concession is a rare South African gem comprising 212,000-acres in the Northern Cape, making it the largest privately owned hunting concession in the country. The reserve forms part of the Kalahari Desert (meaning "large thirst" in Tswana) which is a huge red sand basin that reaches from the Orange River up to Angola, in the west to Namibia and in the east to Botswana and Zimbabwe. The dominant vegetation: grasses, thorny shrubs and Acacia trees, can survive long drought periods of more than ten months every year. However, in contrast to this desert landscape, our outfitters flagship lodge, is a hidden oasis for the most discerning hunter.

Four of the Big Five can be found roaming the landscape, including lion, leopard, rhino and Cape buffalo. Apart from other plains game, exceptional sable, roan and nyala can be found.Their skilled and capable PH’s (professional hunters), trackers and support staff will bring you to within close proximity of these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat, giving a unique edge to our hunts without ever compromising safety.Non-hunters and observers in the company are certainly not neglected and are given a true safari experience.

Our reserve boasts with a luxurious 5-Star lodge (four en-suite rooms) as well as its own asphalt airfield. We believe that at the end of each day you should return to be pampered in luxury. Although we offer the best in modern day conveniences, we never alienate you from your unique African environment. You can enjoy a relaxing sundowner in the pool or from our game viewing decks. We allow you to experience the wonder and unique colours of an African hardwood campfire, and the breathtaking sounds of the continent’s animal nightlife, while serving world class cuisine and beverages. Desert sundowners in the bush are a great specialty offered by our friendly staff.

We have access to a fleet of other chartered aircrafts, including a range of chartered helicopters. We take the hassle out of traveling and make it part of the adventure. Once here, our range of specialist 4x4 vehicles, tested and modified for our different environments, can take you to within close proximity of targeted animals, and allow you to explore our untouched natural wilderness.

This lodge is definitely one of the most exclusive hunting destinations in South Africa.
