The location is just a few miles from the airport, making it convenient to access, and the lodge itself is nestled in a gorgeous setting. Guests can choose between fishing-focused days or opt for the Glacier Bay package, which offers a balanced experience: several days of saltwater fishing combined with a breathtaking cruise through Glacier Bay. This cruise provides opportunities to witness towering glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and marine wildlife like whales.

Sunday: Fly to Juneau and then take Alaska Airlines to Gustavus. You will be met at the airport and transferred five minutes to the lodge. Upon arrival, you will be checked in to your rooms and then enjoy a five course dinner. Following dinner, an orientation for the week will be conducted.
Monday – Thursday: Fish 4 days
Friday (afternoon) – Fish AM or Glacier Bay tour/begin return trip home. The Alaska Air flight departs Gustavus around 5:45 p.m. and lands back in Juneau around 6:15 p.m. Depending on connecting times home, you may have to overnight in Juneau. The Best Western and Travelodge in Juneau both have freezer facilities for your fish.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
