Description

The reserve encompasses 14,000-acres of a variety of habitat, from steep valley ravines of thick Eastern Cape indigenous bush to open grass plains. The Kowie River which runs through the farm offers an abundance of bird life. The reserve is home to a wide variety of game including the shy Cape bushbuck and duiker, the proud Kudu and a host of other specie including waterbuck, bushpig, impala, springbok, nyala, gemsbok, eland, zebra, giraffe, sable, roan, warthog and the mighty Cape Buffalo.

Hunters will be accommodated in the historic, comfortable, spacious original farm homestead. Bedrooms are all en suite with private open outdoor showers, underfloor heating and extra King size beds.

The farm house offers boma style dining for memorable evenings around the fire.

Alternatively, the 100 year old “izinki”, (meaning tin) sheep shearing shed has been restored and renovated to include modern amenities for comfortable accommodation providing the hunter a unique experience.

This hunting experience will most certainly have you longing to come back for another experience under the African sky, sun and moon.

There are additional activities that can be arranged that include game drives, shopping to nearby Grahamstown and the coastal towns of Port Alfred and Kenton. Addo Elephant National Park, cultural villages, San rock paintings and helicopter trips.

Success rates have been 100% on most species with many going high in the record book. This is not a volume outfitter but one that caters to small groups, individual hunters or families. If you want to experience a great safari, take some top quality trophies and have lots of fun, this is your hunt.

Hunts are very limited, so early bookings are essential. Come as guests, leave as friends.
