This outfitter has been offering a true Alaskan adventure for over three decades. They specialize in boat-based bear hunting on the ABC Islands (Admiralty, Baranof, and Chichagof) off the coast of southeast Alaska. This region of Alaska has the highest density of both brown and black bears in the state.  The ABC Islands are composed of dense habitats and numerous rivers and streams loaded with protein-rich salmon. The coastal black bear hunting offers B&C class trophies with 7 ft. bears not uncommon. This outfitter uses a 50 ft. cruiser with all the comforts of home for his base camp and skiffs for going ashore in pursuit of these trophy bears. Accommodations
Comfortable & Renovated Boat with all the comforts of home.
Transportation
Day 1: Fly to Petersburg OR Juneau , Alaska where you will overnight.
Day 2: The outfitter will meet at the hotel in the morning and transfer you to camp.
Days 3-9: Bear hunt.
Day 10: Return to Juneau OR Petersburg and overnight.
Day 11:Depart Juneau OR Petersburg for your return trip home.
Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
