This trophy Canadian moose hunt takes place in central British Columbia in the heart of the vast Canadian wilderness. Our outfitter has access to over 25,000 square miles in his hunting territory. This territory has one of the highest moose populations in North America. This seasoned outfitter has been guiding in this area for over 20 years and hunter feedback reports are outstanding. All hunts are guided 1×1 or 2×1 by experienced guides from rustic comfortable cabins and home-cooked meals are served daily. This wilderness hunt is spot and stalk and conducted during the rut when these big bulls are most susceptible to calling methods. The hunt areas are accessed by UTV or jet boat and in some cases horses depending on hunt area. Over the past years, shot opportunities have been extremely high on trophy bulls ranging from the low 40s and a few pushing the tape over the 50″ mark annually. Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
