Hunt the “King of Africa,” This lion hunt takes place approximately 5 hours east of Johannesburg, about 10 miles South of the Botswana Border in the Kalahari landscape. This family-run operation has hosted and conducted fair chase, ethical hunting safaris for over two decades. All hunts are fully guided by experienced professional hunters. Hunt methods include spot, stalking, and tracking lions on over 5 K acres of the thick African bush.
Note:Â South African lion trophies are NOT importable to the US but can, however, be exported to Mexico, Canada, and Europe. The outfitter does offer three-year trophy storage at Bushman’s River Taxidermy at no additional cost.

Non-hunter fee $200/night
Additional trophies are available on a trophy fee basis.

Lodging + Board. Drinks include Water, Soda, Beer, and Wine. Additional liquor can be purchased
by the client once in South Africa.

Taxidermy or Dip/Pack fees as well as the shipping of trophies to the client’s destination
Tips to staff. (Guide =$100 per day, Tracker/Skinner = $20 per day, Lodge staff = $50 per day)

Fly to Johannesburg, SA, the outfitter will meet and transfer you to the hunt area.
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
