August to November
Slovenia may be a relatively unknown country in central Europe, but is has long been known to sportsmen for its excellent hunting opportunities and great prices. It is conveniently located two hours from Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia, and one hour from Graz, Austria and Klagenfurt, Austria. This hunt offers a great combination of sightseeing and hunting. The lodging is in a great ski area, with plenty of activities for observers and skiing in the winter as well as the famous Christmas markets.
The hunting takes place in the northeastern mountains of Slovenia, bordering its more famous northern neighbor Austria. This hunting area is over 30,000 hectares and encompasses many valleys and mountaintops. Not as physical as some other Chamois hunts, with great spot-and-stalk or high-stand hunting. There are also possibilities for red stag and roe deer.
