Rifle: Late October- November
This hunt takes place at the base of the Snowy Mountains in central Montana on two ranches totaling 35,000 acres. Comprised primarily of rolling hills, creek bottoms, and agricultural lands, this area is a prime wintering range for bull elk.
Due to the vast rolling landscape, you will travel from one glassing point to the next until a suitable bull is found. Once spotted a stalk will be planned and executed to get within shooting distance. These hunts are ideal for those with limited mobility. Elk hunts can be combined with whitetail deer and/or antelope making for an action packed western adventure.
A modern cabin containing three bedrooms/ two-bathrooms will be utilized for lodging with a cook on site. Bull elk hunters will have single occupancy accommodations.
Although this tag can be drawn with zero bonus points it becomes a realistic draw with 5+ points. If you have questions regarding this hunt or seek assistance in applying into the Montana elk draw please contact WTA TAGS at 1-800-755-TAGS(8247) or email us at TAGS@trophyadventures.com
