September 2-7
Our 4,000-acre elk haven has been meticulously managed over the past six years to create an unparalleled hunting environment. Through strategic food plots, enhanced water sources, rigorous predator management, and minimal hunting pressure—only one bull, scoring approximately 330, has been harvested—our efforts have allowed resident bulls to reach full maturity while providing sanctuary for cow herds.
Hunts are conducted from a traditional wall-tent camp on the ranch, accessible by pickup truck. Once at camp, all hunting activities are conducted on foot to minimize disturbance. Expect to walk between 2-4 miles per day. During the rut, bulls in this area are highly vocal and responsive to cow calls, creating an ideal setting for archery elk hunting. Shots typically range from 20 to over 50 yards. Thanks to our effective management practices, targeting bulls in the 320-340 range with high shot opportunities is realistic.
No drawing is required to obtain bull elk tags for this area; you can purchase them online before your hunt or over the counter upon arriving in Utah. Due to the limited number of annual hunters, advance reservations are highly recommended. Contact WTA today at 1-800-346-8747 to secure your spot.
