October 15-19
Central Saskatchewan’s boreal forest is comprised of thick vegetation, large tracts of timber, and intermittent lake systems that create an ideal habitat for Canadian moose. Great moose densities, high success rates for both archers and gun hunters, and experienced local guides ensure that this adventure will not disappoint.
Hunts are strategically operated during October to take advantage of the moose rut. The hunting area is only accessible by ATV or boat. You can expect to travel the road or water networks then go on short hikes into known moose country, once in the area your experienced guide will attempt to call in a bull. Moose are well known to cover vast distances while coming to a call which requires patience as you attempt to lure them into shooting range. Due to the thick vegetation, shots will typically be inside 100 yards. Trips can be tailored to all physical abilities, making for an ideal opportunity for groups.
Accommodation will consist of traditional wall-tents (double occupancy) equipped with wood burning stoves. A separate tent will serve as the dining area for the camp, you can expect quality meals and top-rate hospitality during your stay. Camp can be conveniently accessed by vehicle.
