The vast plains of Northeastern New Mexico provide an ideal habitat for pronghorn antelope. With over 30,000 acres of private ranches and a historic 100% opportunity rate, you can count on a fun and memorable hunting experience.
Hunters will travel by pickup or UTV across the ranches, making frequent stops to glass the terrain. Once a buck is spotted, a stalk will be planned to close the distance and get within shooting range. Be prepared to make shots at distances up to 400 yards. Hunts are typically conducted on a 2X1 basis, with a 3X1 option available for groups of three who wish to hunt together. Bucks will typically range from 60 to 70+ inches. Trophy quality is heavily dependent on yearly moisture levels and feed conditions in the winter/early spring.Â
Lodging consists of a spacious six-apartment facility. Each room comes with one to three beds, a bathroom, living area, and kitchenette. There’s also an outdoor commons area with a fire pit, providing a great place to gather each evening, swap hunting stories, and enjoy meals together. A continental breakfast will be available each morning, sandwich bar for lunch, and a delicious dinner each night.Â
Tags for this hunt are sold online with a capped amount for each season. WTA will provide specific instructions to purchase the appropriate license and tag prior to the July 01 date they go on sale. If you are unable to secure a tag you will receive a full refund or be allowed to roll the trip to the following year.
