Mid October- Mid November
Welcome to a hunter’s paradise. This 4th-generation, 65,000-acre private ranch offers an unmatched elk hunting experience that any serious hunter will appreciate. As both the landowner and outfitter, the family takes great pride in the management of the land, utilizing superior grazing practices and an extensive water network that supports wildlife. With a thriving elk herd roaming these grounds, you’ve got the perfect recipe for an unforgettable hunt.
Known as “Pine Ridge,” this ranch is a hunter’s dream. The terrain is made up of hills, rock outcroppings, and forests of pine and cedar trees, all framed by sage-covered hills, meadows, and canyons. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a novice, the well-developed road system and easy-to-navigate elk terrain make this a hunt that anyone can enjoy. Few places in the West offer both high-quality hunts and terrain that is this accessible.
You’ll be targeting bulls with five or fewer points on one side. While this may seem restrictive at first, we assure you that the quality of bulls you’ll encounter rivals hunts in other states at a comparable price. And don’t worry—the level of service and the experience had will have you booking your next hunt before you even leave.
Rifle hunters will spend most of their time in pickups or UTVs, glassing the terrain for a bull that meets the criteria. Once located, a stalk will be planned, and you’ll have shots out to 400 yards. After the shot, the outfitter will either quarter the bull for transport or take it to the local processor, making the entire experience seamless and hassle-free.
After a day on the hunt, kick back and relax in a comfortable five-bedroom, two-bathroom home. A full-time cook will be on hand to ensure you’re fueled up with hearty, delicious meals. Enjoy the warm, welcoming hospitality Wyoming is known for—and get ready to do it all over again the next day.
Wyoming’s elk tags are issued through a preference-point-based draw system, but don’t worry—this hunt can be drawn with zero points. It’s that simple. If you have questions, want to book your hunt, or need assistance applying for the Wyoming elk draw, call WTA TAGS at 1-800-755-8247.
