This hunt is perfect for adventure seekers who crave a rugged, remote experience that will challenge you both mentally and physically. Set in Utah’s High Uinta Mountain Range in the northeastern part of the state, this hunt takes you to elevations between 8,000 and 10,000 feet, surrounded by stunning, undeveloped views.

The hunt will be based out of remote camps located 2-8 miles from the nearest trailhead, accessible only by hiking or horseback. Each day, you’ll head out with your hunting partner, guide, and pack goats to search for bulls. We’ll primarily use glassing and calling as our hunting methods. This isn’t a trophy hunt—bulls of all sizes, including trophy-class animals, are harvested each season. Once you take down a bull, your guide will communicate with a packer to bring in horses for a quick and efficient recovery.

Your camp will feature double-occupancy wall tents, each equipped with cots, wood heaters, and plenty of food. You’ll be able to enjoy a hot breakfast before heading out, and sack lunches will be packed for the day’s hunt. A hearty dinner will be served each evening. Camps can accommodate up to four hunters.

Tags for this hunt must be purchased online or by phone ahead of time. If needed, your outfitter will be happy to assist you with the process.
