April & May
This four-day King Eider and small game hunt in Sisimiut, Greenland offers a straightforward and well-rounded Arctic experience. You’ll spend three days on the water, hunting from boats in the surrounding archipelagos—an area known for some of the best King Eider hunting in the world. The rugged coastline, icy channels, and remote islands create ideal conditions for this kind of hunt, and the boat-based approach allows you to cover a lot of ground while staying close to the action. Although we will also get you onto the rocks in order to try your luck as well should hunters desire.
One day is set aside as a flex day, for weather purposes. Depending on conditions and your interests, you can use it for local tourism, dog mushing, or small game hunting. Lodging is provided in a comfortable, locally owned hotel that includes all standard amenities—clean, warm, and reliable after a long day outside.
The trip is designed for one or two hunters, which makes it a good option for those wanting a quieter, more personalized experience. The outfitter is a small, family-run operation with strong roots in the community and deep experience in local hunting traditions. Their knowledge of the land and water is matched by a no-frills, hands-on approach to guiding that keeps the focus where it belongs: on the hunt and the experience.
