Utah Rifle Rut Hunt – Guaranteed Tag

This sprawling 9,000+ acre ranch is home to a thriving Elk deer herd and one of the state’s premier hunting lodges. Elk tags for this hunt are guaranteed, allowing you to bypass the draw and hunt outside the standard season dates, as this property is enrolled in Utah’s CWMU program. Guaranteed tags, first-rate lodging, and high-quality hunting make this trip one not to be overlooked.

Historically, this ranch has averaged nearly a 100% chance at encountering bulls in the 300-340 range, with even larger bulls taken each year. This is a great opportunity to to hunt Elk with a rifle during the rut with very little pressure.  Only 6 hunters per year on the ranch with a maximum of two hunters in camp each hunt.

The ranch features a wide range of terrain, from steep mountainous areas requiring hiking to milder landscapes that can be easily navigated by pickups or side-by-sides, combined with short walks. These varied terrains make it an ideal location for hunters with different levels of physical mobility. Hunts will primarily involve glassing from vantage points until a suitable bull is located.

The lodge is a spacious log cabin that is sure to impress. It features six suites, each with a private bath, a large great room with a massive stone fireplace, and a vast patio, creating the perfect environment for hunters. Home-cooked meals will be served daily throughout the hunt, and dietary restrictions will be accommodated.
