The Cantabrian Range is a special mountainous area that extends up from the Atlantic coast. It is culturally rich as well as a fantastic hunting destination. The lush mountains have wonderful populations of red stag and Cantabrian chamois, the smallest of the chamois species in Europe. The hunting is spot and stalk, and hunters should be in good physical condition. However, accommodations can be made for less mobile hunters. This is one of the finest archery Chamois Hunts in the world. Here we concentrate on the first week of May when the season opens, and there is snow up high, and the chamois are not yet weary of hunters. This has offered us 100% opportunity in the last years.
Normal packages take place over 5 days and 4 nights with 3.5 hunting days, but packages are easily customized. The hunt is also ideal for two hunters hunting together. You will see many red stag and chamois on this hunt to remember.

Hunt Style
Physical Level:
Easy: Somewhat easy walking when it comes to physicality. Minimal walking or hiking and terrain is very accessible. Mostly hunting from blinds or tree stands.
Moderate: Physicality is somewhat moderate to advanced. Spot and stalk method of hunting as well as some hunting from blinds. Terrain can vary from prairies to mountains at higher elevations.
Difficult: Requires an advanced degree of physical endurance. Terrain is typically more mountainous and hunting can take place at higher elevation.
Extreme: Most difficult and physically demanding hunts. Requires advanced to extreme endurance and terrain or game pursued may involve dangerous situations.
